This is the 8mm or 12mm 100% soft cotton rope figure of eight training lead with safety clip (safety clip approximately 30cm). If you require the length of the safety clip to be specific so it doesn’t hang or if you would prefer a cotton stopper (as featured on our slip leads) instead of the safety clip please let me know by leaving a note when you’re checking out.
Figure of eight training leads are the perfect training tool for hounds that tend to pull. Use the head collar to gently guide them whilst teaching them pressure control. This is a lead to be used for training purposes only, the length of the lead once on the dog will only be approximately 2-3ft long once the figure of eight is on your dog. If you require more length please send me a message before placing your order.
If your hound is not familiar with wearing a head collar they may require some gentle training prior to using this item, please contact us if you need advice.

All rope leads are unique, they’re hand dyed and made to order so shades may differ from pictures.
Design Your Own Figure Of Eight Training Lead
Please keep your rope lead dry and away from dirty surfaces. If your rope lead gets dirty use warm running water to wipe it clean.
The thickness of our rope are 8mm and 12mm, 8mm is better suited to puppys and smaller breeds while the 12mm is better suited to larger breeds and chunky puppies.
Our rope leads are suitable for all breeds and are tested under extreme pressures however you must inspect your rope lead on a regular basis to ensure there is no wear and tear.
